WE Offer

Doula Support

Our experienced Birth Doulas provide physical and emotional support throught the birth, as well as informational support from the moment you hire till one month after baby is born. As you adjust to life with a newborn, Ann Arbor Birth & Family’s Postpartum Doulas can be by your side to help you get the rest you need, get light housework done, learn how to feed the baby, and be an emotional support as you recover from birth.

Informational Support

We’ve currated class options taught by the best educators and instructors in the area. We offer a variety of Birth Classes and Postpartum Classes to compliment your schedule and availability. And taking a Prenatal or Postantal Yoga Class will provide a healthy, safe space to gather (sometimes virtually) with people who are in the same boat as you! Our Newborn Specialists and Sleep Consultants are also here to share invaluable information to help the whole family sleep better.

WE Offer

Mental Health Support

Ann Arbor Birth & Family partners with Great Lakes Perinatal Wellness to connect you to therapists who specialize in Birth Truama, Postpartum Depression, and Perinatal Adjustment and Parenting. Also available, is Survivor Moms’ Companion, a program designed to help equip parent’s who have suffered trauma, to have effective coping tools as they work through the challenges of pregnancy and parenthood.

WE Offer

Physical Support

Your physical health is important to us. That’s why we want every pregnant person to have access to a Pelvic Floor Therapist, Chiropractor, Women’s Health Coach, Lactation consultant, and Nutritionist. Likewise our Movement (Pilates and Gerotonic classes) and the physical support given by our doulas are a gamechanger when it comes to birth and the time surrounding it.
