Food

What is your relationship to what you put in your body?

Sleep

How can you best support restful and rejuvenating sleep?

Emotional & Mental Resilience

What are your blocks? How is your mind getting in the way of you making positive change?

Movement

What are the ways you enjoy moving your body?

Community

Do you have a support network? How do you use your community to support you in your goals?

Supplements and herbs

Finally, what can you do to supplement your nutrition?

In this interactive and intuitive group workshop we will be delving into what are the top 4 factors to having a healthy and happy postpartum, as well as returning to feeling like yourself by taking your unique next best steps.

So what are the factors that play into how your postpartum time unfolds? They can vary so much, but in this program we will talk about the most likely causes of anxiety and depression, fatigue, brain fog, postpartum injury, slow recovery after birth, and sense of self/community.

THE 4 AREAS WE WILL COVER ARE:

SLEEP AND RESILIENCY

What does sleep with a baby look like?
How do you and your team work together to get everyone the sleep you need?
Why is sleep so important?
and how will this key piece of the puzzle lead to a faster recovery?

DEPLETION FROM PREGNANCY AND HOW TO REBUILD

What does pregnancy take out of you?
Likely causes of common postpartum issues, like mood swings, unexplained fatigue, food cravings or aversions.
Safe and simple foods and supplements that can make big changes in how you’re feeling.

STAYING TRUE TO WHO YOU ARE

Identifying what makes you happy.
Discovering who you are when you’re at your best.
and what you need to return to your new normal as your baby grows.

BUILDING SUPPORT NETWORKS

While focusing in your unique situation we will create a plan for you to be resourced, well-served, resilient, and rested, while you snuggle your new baby and move into this new chapter of life.

Along with 6 weeks of group coaching, you will also get a 1-hour call with me to bring all you’ve discovered into a cohesive picture for your return to the world after your 4th trimester.

Katy Gladwin (she/her), BS CHC, WHC Has been serving families as a doula & childbirth educator for over a decade in the Ann Arbor Area. After completing a BS in Human Biology/Premed, she found her calling as an advocate for birthing families as a doula and certified women’s health coach. As a perpetual student, Katy is dedicated to discovering and sharing new and traditional information to support her friends, family, and clients in their health and wellness. After seeing so many gaps in care for pregnant and postpartum women, she completed a rigorous and comprehensive training as a certified Holistic & Integrative Women’s Health and Fertility Coach – with the goal of supporting women where they are in having happy healthy pregnancies, and vibrant and resilient postpartum transitions. Katy is offering the Resilient Postpartum Preparation Course. In this interactive and intuitive group workshop, participants will be delving into the top 4 factors to having a healthy and happy postpartum and learn how to feel like themselves again. She also offers a variety of custom Health Coaching program options.  Katy currently lives in the woods with her partner, her 8 year-old son and 2 year-old daughter, along with a cat and a dog.  There isn’t much she loves more than a good bulletproof mocha. In her free time, when she’s not studying, you can find her playing with her kids by the creek, or hiding out and netflix-knitting by herself.
